About the album:
The Beatles Collection box set from the UK is a 14-LP set containing the band's 13 original studio albums and an exclusive compilation album called Rarities, all in stereo. The set is colloquially known as the "Blue Box" due to the color of its outer packaging.
The set contains 13 LPs in total (the "White Album" is a double LP). The complete album tracklist is Please Please Me, With the Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles (White Album), Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road, Let It Be, and the exclusive Rarities compilation.

The records come in a blue imitation leather box with embossed gold lettering on the front. The records are standard British pressings of the time and have inner sleeves with date codes, often showing 1978 as the manufacturing date.
The set includes the original album inserts, such as the Sgt. Pepper's cutout and the four photos and gatefold poster from the White Album.
The UK version of Rarities differs from the US version, including the German versions of "She Loves You" ("Sie Liebt Dich") and "I Want To Hold Your Hand" ("Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand").
The track listing sheet, exclusive to this version of 1985, was included behind the shrink wrap on the back of the box with the copies imported by Costco for sale in the U.S.
Text around the top edge of the label says: “ALL RIGHTS OF THE PRODUCER AND THE OWNER OT THE RECORDED WORK RESERVED. UNAUTHORISED COPYIN, HIRING, RENTING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND BROADCASTING OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED. MANUFACTURED IN THE UK BY EMI RECORDS LIMITED”.
The records in this set are highly valued by collectors as they feature the original, unremastered UK stereo mixes, using the original analog master tapes.
